The 2017 vintage was the most precocious ever in the history of our family, the fruit of a wine year that started with a dry and mild winter, and lasted with little precipitation throughout the entire cycle of the vine, creating the conditions for the harvest started in mid-August. Produced with Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca and Tinta Roriz grapes.

Winemaking and Stage: Grapes subject to total destemming, and slight crushing, beginning alcoholic fermentation, which took place in fermentation vats in stainless steel with controlled temperature. This wine aged for about 12 months in new and used 500-liter French oak barrels. Wine of great elegance and complexity, with its lush fruit, perfectly integrated with the toasted and smoked notes conferred by the wooden stage. Ruby red in color, it is a wine with good structure and precision and in the mouth it is very elegant, with fine acidity that supports the whole tannic structure of the wine very well. Long and seductive finish.

Decanting: We recommend decanting, a procedure that will allow good oxygenation, exposing all the aromatic potential of the wine.

Service temperature: Serve between 15 and 17ºC.

Pairing: It preferably accompanies strong meat dishes, sausages or a good cheese from the mountains.
